The "Researchers in the Spotlight" campaign aims to showcase cutting-edge research conducted within the EuroMarine Network. It seeks to promote the researchers achievements, foster a sense of community within the network and inspire others to explore new frontiers in marine sciences.
Through interviews with the network's researchers, the campaign provides a platform for them to share their experiences, insights, and groundbreaking research with a wider audience. Listen to the podcast to learn all about ocean biogeography, the impact of climate change on marine biodiversity, MPAs, blue carbon opportunities, seagrass meadows photosynthetic mechanisms and more.
EuroMarine is a member-based, interdisciplinary, collaborative network of European marine organisations and research institutes. EuroMarine’s mission is to support the identification and initial development of important emerging scientific topics or issues and associated methodologies in marine sciences, as well as to foster new services relevant to the marine scientific community. As an interdisciplinary, international, collaborative network, EuroMarine plays a crucial role in creating and facilitating funding, training, networking and other opportunities for marine researchers and organisations.
